TRACING THE BOUNDED
Kseniia Buryka · Ukraine / Lithuania
Tracing the Bounded is a movement-based performance and installation that explores liminality as a space of transformation, disorientation, and emergence. Combining contemporary dance, circus, and visual installation, the work investigates how we navigate identity, memory, and relational connection through transitional states - both personal and collective.
Using nets, ropes, and multi-layered movement, performers navigate shifting spaces where gravity, time, and memory blur. Liminal spaces evoke both unease and potential. They are places where identity dissolves and reforms, where bodies adapt, resist, and surrender to the unknown.
This performance embodies the transitional state, questioning how memory shapes our perception of space, how movement inhabits uncertainty, and how the act of letting go can lead to renewal.
